I recently bought this rebar stool in Poland for the equivalent of £5. Seemingly meaningless stool but hugely influencial on my most recent project. In post-WWII Polish design, reinforcement bars were not only used to rebuild the destroyed architecture but also in furniture design as a clever solution to material shortages. Both literally and metaphorically a beautifully resilient material

what a year 2024 has been… from exhibitions in London, visiting factories in Italy all the way to having a chair I designed and built being flown out to New York! not to mention graduating, hosting a discussion panel and being featured in 4 Deezen articles
super greatful for the opportunities this year has given me and looking forward to 2025!
